About Lisa
Lisa M. Stein is a serial entrepreneur in the technology and healthcare industries. She is the Founder of SpinLife, the largest direct-to-consumer retailer of durable medical equipment (DME) through catalog and the internet, and now a division of Numotion,Inc. after being acquired in 2021. Lisa currently serves on the board of Numotion. Lisa was also the Founder of ORIS Intel, a SaaS model technology business founded in 2014 that is the leader in its industry. ORIS Intel was acquired by Price Spider in 2019.ORIS developed PROWL, software that provides consumer brands with digital tools to protect brand equity through price monitoring and vendor/retail relationship support. From 1991 to 1995, Lisa was the General Manager of Medical Strategies, Inc., a technology division of Cardinal Health, and was responsible for the development and launch of HealthTouch and CareTouch, interactive kiosks delivering detailed health information from leading not-for-profit health organizations like The American Heart Association, The Cancer Society, The Arthritis Foundation, and many more. The kiosks, placed in WalMart pharmacies, Meijers, Shopko, and other retailers, were early vehicles in the direct-to-consumer advertising of pharmaceutical and HME products. From 1986 to 1991, Lisa worked with Fortune 500 companies helping them to create new products and services while a Director at Fitch, Inc., one of the leading industrial design firms in the world. Her client roster included Whirlpool, Square D, Reebok, and Scott Foresman Publishing. From 1984 to 1985, Lisa worked for a joint venture of RPA associates and Trott and Bean architects, providing market research services to the retail development industry. Lisa holds a BS (’83) in Operations Research and an MBA (’84) in Market Research, both from Indiana University. She lives in Columbus, Ohio and in Santa Barbara, CA with her husband of 38 years, Craig Colvin, and has two grown sons.
